I bought this watch watch to diversify my collection and add a piece that was both affordable and fun. This is exactly what I got. WatchSensation the seller offered a good price for the watch and were great to deal with.



My thoughts are as follows:



Pros - The watch comes in a small but functional jewel case. Jewel case is nice and resembles an aluminum briefcase. Upon opening the jewel case and inspecting the watch you will come to find a very solid case construction and a large and handsome dial. The leather strap and buckle that comes with the watch are nice but is a bit snug for anyone with a 7" or larger wrist.



Cons - My biggest complaint about this watch is the quality of the crystal leaves little to be desired. It is hazy in certain light and angles. Granted however this is a <$200.00 time piece.



Overall - My overall impression is that this is a fun and affordable watch that is great to liven up any collection. You get a big statement for a very small price tag. As for quality you get what you are paying for and maybe even more. IMHO large diameter watches are fun but are a fad. This gives those of us who either don't want to or can't shell out large amounts of money on the U-Boats or Breitling Super Avengers to enjoy the latest watch craze and look good while doing it.



Side note - I have a 7" and this watch fits nicely. Does not wear well with dress/work attire as the case is thick.

I didn't pay very close attention when I bought this. I thought the style was cool and that the watch would be a normally sized one (I wasn't paying attention to the specs). To say that I was surprised that it was so huge is an understatement. The heft of it on my wrist is huge - more of a "wristclock" than a "wristwatch". I was so surprised by the hugeness of it that I kept asking my daughter (who is 16) whether I should return it.



After a while though and some wearing I realized that this ludicrously huge watch is also ludicrously nice. It's obviously well-built and definitely has a style that stands out. I certainly will NOT be returning this one!



My advice: If you don't want to attract attention with your watch for God's sake don't buy this watch. However if you want something distinctive that looks like it will last forever this is the watch for you!



Update (40 days later): I still like the look of the watch but the stopwatch feature now resets to two seconds rather than to zero seconds. A little thing I know but it kind of defeats the purpose of a stopwatch to be two seconds off.
